Member limits reset on the 1st of each month. Pro and Pro+ remove them for the subscriber in every server, and for every member of a server the subscriber sponsors (see below).
Pro+ runs translations on our premium translation engine, which handles slang, tone and context more naturally. It applies to the subscriber’s own translations everywhere, and to every translation in the servers they sponsor: inline, flags, /translate, Translate Message and route deliveries. A server sponsored by a Pro+ member gets the premium engine even for members on the free plan.
Who is limited: the member or the server?
- Inline auto-translate,
/translate, Translate Message and flag reactions count against the member who used them. - Route deliveries count against the server — never against any member.
- In a Pro-sponsored server, none of this is limited: every member is unlimited there, and nothing they translate there counts against their own allowance.
How Pro attaches to a server
Pro and Pro+ belong to a person. That person can sponsor a server by running /server pro sponsor there, or by adding a route or creating a group there. From then on:
- Every member of the server is unlimited for inline auto-translate, flag reactions,
/translateand Translate Message, and nothing they translate there counts against their own monthly allowance. In other servers and in DMs, members keep their own allowance. - Every admin of the server can add unlimited routes and groups.
Check a server with /server pro status. The sponsor can stop sponsoring it with /server pro release.
How many servers a plan covers
Pro covers up to 3 servers you sponsor, Pro+ up to 8. At the limit, Talksy tells you instead of sponsoring another server: run /server pro release in a server you no longer need, or move to Pro+.
Servers you sponsored before these limits keep their coverage. If you sponsor more than your plan’s limit, nothing is taken away; you just can’t add another until you’re below it.
Two things follow from that:
- Inviting the bot does not make a server Pro. Until a Pro or Pro+ member sponsors it, the server and its members are on the free plan.
- The link is checked live. If the sponsor’s subscription lapses, the server drops to the free plan automatically within a few minutes, and resubscribing restores it.
Server still on the free plan although “someone has Pro”? Ask that person to run /server pro sponsor on the server. That’s the link.
Votes
Voting for Talksy resets your monthly counters to zero (not a bonus pool). Run /checkvote to get the vote link and see whether your vote is active. You can vote every 12 hours.
Upgrade
Upgrade from the dashboard or the pricing page . Changes apply immediately; manage or cancel any time from the billing portal in the dashboard.
Already on Pro? Choose Pro+ on the pricing page or in the dashboard and your subscription switches over: you pay the difference for the rest of the billing period, never a second subscription. Moving back to Pro works the same way.
